Build 0.0.8 - New UI, Lewd stuffs, Enemies AI and much more!


Hi everyone, really sorry for taking so much time to prepare the next version and it kinda delayed.

The good new is that this version bring a lot of cool stuff! I will introduce some of it below.

New player UI :

The new UI applied the light grey color as the main color, allowing it to give a modern feeling. The original arousal bar (the heart-shape indicator) is now move to the left side of the player icon, representing how close is the character about to orgasm.

The little indicator at the right side of the health bar is the exposure indicator. It is a measure on how much to the creature near you will be affected by you. The actual effect is determined by the creature AI itself. The exposure level will consider the player equipment with its durability, the player current desire level and the total amount of cum inside the player body. (The exposure level can exceed than 100%!)

The desire level is shown at the right end of the player UI. Desire level shows how much the character want to have sexual interaction.
The player in the high-desire circumstance will have low mobility and low resistance if being catch by enemy, and also more easy to orgasm. Also, the idle/ walking/ running animations will be switch to another version. Player can masturbate to temporarily reduce the desire level (and by orgasm).
However, the desire level will slowly return to the heat period value (The little heart icon inside the desire bar).

The heat of the player will change every day mid-night, the player will pass through low-heat day and high-heat day with in the 14 day cycle. It is a mechanism that require the player to prepare the predictable challenge, adding difficulties to the survival.

If there are fertilized system added in the future, it will be based on this heat period system.

Both of the above value can be checked in the player stats UI.

AI Update:

For Green Slime / Yellow Slime / Pink Slime:

Slime's texture are redrawn and have many new abilities. Different color of slime have different abilities and attack action. All slimes can consume the items they swallowed after some time and heal itself.   You can still save the item swallowed by slime if you kill it quick enough. The slime have different action modes base on its "alarm" value above its health bar.
*Due to its special body structure, it can always "see" you if you get close.

Green Slime

- Stick at ceiling
- Produce mucus on ground
- Able to pass door regardless it's closing
- Can make its skin more bounce to defense
- Can jump toward player

Yellow Slime (New sexual animations!)

- Deal lots of damage to player clothing when contacted
- Unable to pass door
- Can shoot acid projectile
- Wide attack range

Pink Slime (No sexual animation for this one currently)

- Stick at ceiling
- Produce aphrodisiac smoke on air that can increase the player desire
- Can release a quick smoke to knock down the player
- Can jump and do damage to player
- Very fast

Goat Man

It have two major value deciding its action, anger value and desire value.

Only when its anger value is over desire:

In the low anger situation, he will in alarm state and follow you, also fall back if you getting close (Don't keep forcing him to fall back!).
When it have decent amount of anger, it will start chasing you and perform aggressive actions.
Hint: You may crouch down to show your submissiveness.

- Decrease anger when masturbating/ Decrease desire when being attacked
- Can orgasm when desire bar is full, player desire will increase if being hit by cum
- Get angry when player try to loot things within their view range
- Call for support when being attacked, making other goatman searching for you.
- Sleep at night time

Mutated Dark wolf

Its action depends on assault value.

- More likely to attack you from behind
- Will run away if getting close at low assault value
- Can hide inside the big bushes/ move to other big bushes
- Afraid of fire
- Searchable nest

Struggle system Update:

The struggle system also have a small update. Other than giving it a new outlook, i also separated the process value and struggle value.
Thus now struggling will not prevent the struggle stage to advance, instead you lost all struggle process when it advance to next stage.
Also, player can now orgasm during the sexual animations. Player is unable to struggle during orgasm and after orgasm with a few seconds.
Player is harder to struggle if they are in-heated.

Heat period related Update:

Once the player desire has exceed over 80%, they will enter in-heat mode.
The player idle,walk and run animation are changed. The movement speed are also reduced during in-heat.
Orgasm will reduce the player desire, meaning player can masturbate to solve this problem.
Other than the nature heat changing in the player body, some creature may also have actions that increase your desire , such as goatman.

Cum stats Update:

When there are enemy cum inside your body, the cum records in the player stat UI will now function.
There are also some cum leaking effect at the player character depends on the cum amount.
Wearing corresponding clothing will reduced the cum leaking amount.

Stamina system improvement:

The stamina cost of running and dodging is reduced, and the stamina recover speed is increased. The player can idle or crouch for 3 seconds to get stamina recover boost (3 times faster) . Also, there are some items that can be used to recover stamina now. Thus, player can run longer and perform more actions during the combat. However, there is a overweight penalty at run / dodge stamina cost and recover speed, so player cannot carrying tons of items and keep running.

Damage and Defense system improvement:

The defense calculation method is now switch to percentage based reduction, meaning that even bare hand can do some damage to the enemies. Also, it reduced the actual damage difference between a high damage weapon and a low damage weapon. The weapons are now more balanced. In Addition, a stealth damage boost is also added to the player. If player hit an enemy who don't saw them, the damage become 2 times greater.

Defense action Update:

Player can now press and hold the key C to perform defense, the stamina cost will only applied when player successfull blocked a attack.
Player will not be knock down from normal attack during defensing.

The blocked damage are based on a new value called defense efficient, 20% or 0.2 means player only put 80% damage in to general damge calculation.
Player has a base of 20% defense efficient, and weapons will give you different extra amount of defense efficient.

Also, there is a very short period (0.2s) after starting to defense named perfect defense time, which allow you to parry all damage and cause the enemy to faint for a few seconds (Still cost stamina).

More dynamic loots:

The loot in the container and loot on ground will now be able to spawn with different item numbers, and also with different durability if possible. It increased the randomness on the current loot system. The loot spawn rate is slightly reduced to prevent unbalanced loot numbers.

Quality of life:

Now in the crafting table UI, you can see what materials and its number are lacking in the input field for the recipe you choose. It directly shows what items player need to put into the crafting table.

The quick-take and quick-put buttons are added to most of the container UI (at right upper corner). It allows player to take all items or put many items to the container by one simple click.

The durability of the item will now shown at the player inventory, equipment UI and container. The player can see the condition of the different items in shorter time.

There are also many minor changes in the game, you can check it at the devlog!

I will make a small update of the game and release it after 1-2 weeks later, then i will start making the character customize system after that. Hope to see you guys soon!

Changes:

- Updated the player stats UI
- Updated the struggle system
- Increase stamina regenerate speed when standing / crouching (3 times faster, require 3 seconds to active)
- Reduced base running stamina cost by 20%, reduced base dodging stamina cost by 33%, and increased base stamina recover speed by 25%
- Reduced the stamina consumption on most of the weapons when attacking
- Reduced base health recover speed by 80%
- Re-texture the item image of slime mucus and slime core
- Increase maximum stack number to 5 for some item (Log, Water Can, Slime Core)
- Reduced the spawn rate of some loot
- Changed the defense calculation method (From minus the defense value switching to percentage reduction, can check the actual blocking effect at stats UI)
- Changed the critical damage resistance calculation method
- Adjusted the indoor lighting at home and shopping street
- Updated the slow motion effect to enemy grabbing (lesser time & smaller range)
- Slightly reduce the base knock back distance for player
- Adjusted some player animations and the transition between the animations
- Adjusted the player dodging animation to enhance the control ability
- Player will take more arousal during sex scene under high desire level (x1.5 when reaching 50%, x2 when reaching 80%
- Restrict player to struggle for a few second after orgasm
- Add option to delete world and player-build furniture
- Small adjustment in the help page

Bug Fix:

- Fixed the low item sensitivity problem in the container when another item is dragged over on the item to exchange
- Fixed the issue that furniture blueprint move to the center between two touch position when trying to build it
- Fixed the bug that player can dodge while knocked down
- Fixed the bug that player can interact with stuffs when knocked down and during sexual animation with enemy
- Fixed many minor bugs
